Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Short version: Visite does not use its own tracking cookies. The only cookies that may appear are technical ones from the hosting and, if you click a link that leads to a booking or shopping site, cookies from that site. Below, the full version.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a site stores in your browser to remember something between pages or visits. Some are essential for the site to work; others are used to measure usage or to follow a purchase recommendation. Not every cookie tracks you: it depends on who sets it and what for.

How Visite uses cookies

We do not install our own tracking cookies; the ones that exist come from third-party services we use. There are two: Google Analytics 4, to measure audience, and Google AdSense, which displays the ads that pay for hosting and content production. AdSense may personalize ads based on your visits to this and other sites; it is Google itself that asks for your consent for that, in the message that appears on your first visit, and you can review the options at any time in My Ad Center. Besides those, there are strictly technical cookies from Cloudflare, needed to deliver and protect the pages.

Cookies from booking and shopping sites

When you click a link to Booking.com, Civitatis, Decolar, Vai de Promo, Shopee or Amazon, those third-party sites may store cookies in your browser to recognize that the visit came from Visite. Those cookies belong to them and follow the privacy and cookie policies of each one. We do not control them or have access to what they store.

How to manage cookies in your browser

You are in control of your browser's cookies. You can block them, delete them or be warned before any is stored, including third-party ones. In the most common browsers, the option is found in:

Blocking essential cookies may affect parts of your browsing, but since Visite does not depend on its own cookies to show content, refusing them hardly affects your experience here.

Updates

If we change how we handle cookies, we update this page and the date at the top. To understand data processing as a whole, see also the Privacy Policy.
