Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains plainly what visite.tur.br does (and does not do) with data. In short: we collect the minimum, we do not ask you to sign up, we do not sell anything, and we process personal data in accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (the LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018).
1. Who is the controller
Visite is run by a private individual, with no incorporated company so far. For any privacy matter, the contact is contato@visite.tur.br. We have no physical customer service address; all communication happens by email.
2. What data we collect
Very little. The site has no sign-up, login or form that asks for your details, so we do not store the name, email or phone number of people who browse, unless you write to us on your own initiative. What does exist is:
- Access metrics, through Google Analytics 4: number of visits, page views, where the visit came from, approximate country and device type. GA4 stores Google's own cookies in your browser; we do not send it anyone's name, email or phone number.
- Advertising: the site displays Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners store cookies to choose, display and measure those ads, which may be personalized based on your visits to this and other sites.
- Data you send us voluntarily when you send an email (the content of the message and your email address), used only to reply to you.
We do not collect sensitive personal data and we do not build visitor profiles of our own. Ad personalization, when it exists, is done by Google based on its cookies: you can turn it off or adjust it in My Ad Center.
3. Cookies and links to booking and shopping sites
Visite does not install its own tracking cookies, but it uses Google services that install theirs: Analytics, to measure audience, and AdSense, to display the ads that support the site. In addition, when you click a link that leads to a booking or shopping site, such as Civitatis (tours), Booking.com (hotels), Decolar, Vai de Promo and Buser (travel tickets), Shopee and Amazon (products), that site may store cookies in your browser to recognize that the visit came from here. Those cookies belong to that site, are governed by its privacy policy, and we have no access to what they store. The details are in our Cookie Policy.
Some links on this site lead to booking and shopping partners, such as Civitatis, Booking.com, Decolar, Vai de Promo, Buser, Shopee and Amazon; if you book or buy through them, the site may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you.
4. Legal basis for processing
Aggregated metrics and the basic operation of the site rest on legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX of the LGPD) in understanding usage and keeping the service online, always with data that does not identify you. When you write to us, the legal basis is your consent and the handling of the contact you started yourself. The cookies stored by booking and shopping sites depend on the relationship between you and each of them. For advertising cookies, it is Google itself that asks for and records your consent, through the message that appears on your first visit; you can also withdraw it there. Details on how Google handles that data are in How Google uses data from partner sites and apps.
5. Your rights as a data subject
The LGPD guarantees you, among others, the right to:
- confirm whether we process any data about you and access it;
- correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
- request the deletion or anonymization of unnecessary data;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- find out who we share data with.
Since in practice we only keep what you send us by email, exercising these rights is usually simple: in general, you just need to ask.
6. How to exercise your rights
Write to contato@visite.tur.br and tell us what you need. Messages sent to the contact email are stored and organized by an automated tool, for the team to read, and used only to reply to you. We reply as quickly as possible. If you prefer to manage third-party cookies yourself, you can do that in your browser settings, as we explain in the cookie policy.
7. We do not sell data
We never sell, rent or trade personal data. There is no visitor database to commercialize, and that is a design choice of the project, not an empty promise.
8. Hosting and where data is kept
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process technical connection data (such as the IP address, on a transient basis) to deliver the pages and protect the service. That processing follows Cloudflare's own practices.
9. Changes to this policy
If anything changes, we update this page and the "last updated" date at the top. The version published here always prevails.
